Chamberlain averaged 29.9 points and 18.3 rebounds per game during his two seasons in Lawrence (1956-1958) before dominating the NBA for 14 seasons. Riggins led Kansas in rushing three straight seasons (1978-1980) and went on to earn Super Bowl XVII and 1983 NFL MVP honors. Sayers, known as the ?Kansas Comet,? was a two-time All-American who became NFL Rookie of the Year in 1965 and a five-time All Pro.
